Hey everyone! My name is Caleb, and I am from Kansas City, Missouri. When I'm not focusing on drinking from the firehose that is medical school, I like to do pretty much anything outside. You can literally name any outdoor recreational activity, and I bet I would say I enjoy it if I've done it. I worked as an emergency department nurse for some years prior to medical school and received EMT training prior to nursing school. One of my favorite parts of outdoor recreation is sharing it with friends and family. Wilderness medicine is a particular interest of mine because I could certainly use the information for treating myself or members of my party when in the backcountry. All aspects of wilderness medicine excite me, but if I had to choose a particular interest it would be expedition medicine. I am excited to be a part of the team!
